We train on Strathclyde Loch, the 2km, 8 lane, purpose built course which is used for Scotland’s two main multi lane regattas – Strathclyde Park Regatta in April and the Scottish Championships in June. The course was built for the Commonwealth Games in 1986 and has seen many national and international competitions since then.

The Scottish Rowing Centre is home to Scotland’s only indoor Rowing Tank and the club’s ten rowing machines (ergometers) sit alongside. Should you wish to take out membership, you will gain access to a full range of CV equipment and free weights within ‘The Boathouse Gym’ with advice and personal training available.

The Watersports Centre is where our boat bay is based. See opposite for full details of our own boat fleet which is ably maintained and looked after by Tom, our Club Master.

The full range of the Scottish Rowing fleet are also available for booking which includes eights(8+), fours(4+/4-), quads(4x+/4x), pairs(2-), double sculls(2x) and three pair / double scull training boats.
